Before coming to Pursuit Fitness and Performance, my fitness experience consisted of PE in school and workout DVDs. I completed the 90-day Insanity® program the summer of 2012. Although I did get positive results, they were not as good as I had hoped. I started training for a half marathon in January 2013, and halfway through my training I began group training three days a week at Pursuit Fitness and Performance. I could not be happier with my results. I finally have the muscle tone and definition I’ve always wanted and was not able to achieve by doing Insanity®. The strength training was a great supplement to my half marathon training, and I believe it enabled me to finish the race stronger. Additionally, I feel great. I have more energy throughout the day, and I am lifting weights and doing workouts I never thought I would be able to do. I had never touched a dumbbell over 10 pounds prior to PFP, and now I use weights over three times that during my workouts! Most importantly, training at Pursuit Fitness and Performance has given me confidence in myself, my appearance, and my abilities. After each workout I am empowered to face the challenges in my life and complete the tasks that I had been worrying about earlier in the day. No matter what your fitness goals are, PFP can help you achieve them. I accomplished my goals and achieved more than I ever thought possible, and there is no place I would rather workout at more than Pursuit Fitness and Performance.
