Let’s face it, there is no shortage of excuses to choose from to justify an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been using them for the past 6 years as the weight built up and my energy level dropped. Deep down I knew I needed to do something. When my fiance approached me about starting group training at Pursuit Fitness & Performance, I was apprehensive and wanted to revert to my standard list of excuses – but with an upcoming wedding, I decided to give it a try. I wanted to get healthy and lose some weight before the big day and knew the extra help would make it easier.
When I first came to Pursuit, it was easy to buy in because I could tell they knew what they were talking about. It became clear that they weren’t selling a shortcut, but rather the promise that if we worked hard and changed the way we look at what we eat, we would see the results. The information about how to build muscle and burn fat was eye opening. The multi-faceted approach to getting our bodies into high metabolism gear will be life long tools I will use to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The constant support keeps me motivated and excited and the nutrition assistance keeps me accountable.
Since joining, I have become more committed to my goals to lose fat, gain muscle, and become healthier. I have been seeing the results in the mirror and on the scale and am excited to keep it going. The biggest change for me has been the positive change in my attitude towards working out and eating healthy. A huge THANK YOU to the entire PFP Team for everything!
